# Featured MCP server

The Featured MCP server exposes your workflows, opportunity search, and billing to any MCP-compatible client — Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and your own agents — over an authenticated, organization-scoped connection.

Endpoint: `https://mcp.featured.com/api/mcp` (Streamable HTTP)

## Authentication

There is no API key to paste. Every client speaks to the same endpoint and
authenticates with an OAuth browser handshake on first connect; the connection
is scoped to the organization you sign in as, and what it can reach is a strict
subset of what that account can do in the UI.

Tool names are not listed here on purpose — discover them over the protocol,
which is the only source that cannot go stale.

## Capabilities

### Opportunity search

- Find media queries, podcasts, journalists, byline publications, LinkedIn influencers, speaking events with open CFPs, and awards from a single natural-language request.
- Filter by the things that actually decide a fit — outlet, topic, deadline, audience — without learning a query syntax.

### Workflows

- Browse the workflow templates available on your plan, and see what each one watches for.
- Review your organization's workflows: their filters, schedules, current state, and recent run history with match counts.
- Launch a workflow, or retune what an existing one watches for.

### Connections

- See which third-party accounts your workspace has connected — Gmail, Outlook, Slack — and where each one stands. No tokens are ever returned.
- Connect a new account from the connectors page in your browser.

### Plan and usage

- Check your plan, remaining allowance, prepaid balance, and whether you are near a cap.
- Compare paid plans, and check auto-reload settings and invoices. Payment is always confirmed by a person in the browser.
