I am an English teacher with 20 years of experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I also have 2 years of experience as a College & Career Counselor and Internship Coordinator for high school students, and 1 year of experience as Dean of Students. Additionally, I was a regular contributor to the Tucson Weekly from 2000-2014, and my articles have been reprinted in the East Bay Express and the Monterey County Weekly. I also have contributed to the Tucson Sentinel, Venus Zine, and Popmatters.com, and have been a guest on WNYC's Soundcheck. I hold a Master's degree in English from the University of Arizona, and my research interests include music criticism, literature and the environment, and contemporary American short fiction and poetry.
