Entrepreneurial scientist turned biotechnology marketer. Starting my professional career in a unique synthetic biology laboratory that utilized biomanufacturing principles to improve experimental reproducibility, operational efficiency, and maximize resources gave me the ability to view every process with an engineering mindset. With productivity and efficiency at the forefront, I developed a LIMS configuration that allowed our team to perform high throughput vector fabrication, high throughput phenotyping, and yeast strain engineering. In the end, we created 7,350 yeast strains and produced 500,000+ data points. While teaching myself operations, I was actively doing research in the following areas: biologics, gene circuits, yeast genetics, and next generation sequencing.
