I’m a psychologist and lifelong observer of what helps people endure and heal. My work explores the psychology of attachment, trauma, and human resilience: how early relationships and experiences of loss shape the way we connect, cope, and rebuild. Much of my career has centered on the psychological effects of displacement and survival. I’ve worked with refugees, survivors of war violence, human trafficking, and genocide, helping people reclaim a sense of identity and safety after unimaginable experiences. In addition to my clinical work, I conduct forensic psychological evaluations for individuals applying for asylum and other forms of immigration relief in the United States, work that bridges the worlds of psychology, law, and human rights.
