Joey Hancock received his bachelor degree in Religious studies in 2016 from Arizona State University while working for the award winning student run newspaper State Press. During his time at the State press he was the only full time writer to ever have three front page articles published during a semester in the modern era of the publication. While at ASU Joey began working as a freelance writer for multiple publications including Engineering News Record, Engineering News Record Southwest and Modern Times Magazine. Joey honed his writing skills while interning a couple of years at the Sierra Vista Herald.
