Laurie Olsen began her leadership career over two decades ago in a managerial position at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has since been the manager and then owner of her own company since 2001. She states that authentic women’s leadership is not just about the position you hold but the ability to lead assertively while also with compassion. She also says that strong communication skills and possessing emotional intelligence are critical soft skills to have no matter who you’re collaborating with or what industry you’re in.
