Psychotherapist specialising in work with LGBTQ+ and queer clients. I have over 5 years’ experience as a therapist, working predominantly with LGBTQ+/queer clients and with an LGBTQ+ charity. I’m a BACP accredited therapist (which means I’ve met the organisation’s higher accreditation standard as a competent, ethical and independent practitioner). My therapy draws from a range of models, including Relational Psychotherapy, Attachment-informed, Compassion and polyvagal/somatic (body-focused) approaches. Since I was a teenager, I’ve been passionate about reducing mental health stigma and have written zines, blogs and articles and spoken to groups on the subject. My current writing focuses on trauma informed therapy, queer popular culture and anti-oppressive therapy.
