Out of my deep passion for food and nutrition, I have been privileged as a restaurant owner to cooperate with customers to make them create better relations with eating. However, one particularly influential aspect I have always considered is enlightening the clients about mindful eating practices. I once mentored a lady who was struggling with overeating and emotional eating. We mainly focused on the basic principles of mindful eating—devoting full attention to the act of consuming meals and savoring every bite without distractions. First, we started by recognizing their triggers around food and they made some easy goals like not watching screens while eating and showing gratitude before meals. In addition, I also introduced intuitive dining to the patient so that he or she might be in a position to hear what their bodies were saying relating to hunger or satiety cues. I used various delectable and healthy recipes from my restaurant menu containing whole foods that ensured a balanced meal providing satisfaction to both taste buds and nutritional requirements. The client reported remarkable progress in dieting over time. They gain more control over their choice of dishes as well as more respect for culinary artistry. This development did not just improve how they eat but also impacted their physical health alongside mental well-being when it comes to food choices. At Kashkan Restaurants, we believe that food has a therapeutic effect on the human body and spirit. Assisting clients in creating positive exposure to food is one of the most satisfying aspects of our campaign for healthy and happy feeding.
