Hello, my name is Rafael Boruchov but my patients know me as Dr. Roman. I own 5 dental offices through out Brooklyn, Queens and Nassau County serving a wide range of diverse demographics. Our Brooklyn office for example is in the heart of Little Caribbean which is one of the most vibrant diverse neighborhoods in New York City. In my years of experience what I found is that the key to providing culturally competent care comes down to the staff you hire. It's one thing to have competent dental professionals (which we do) but what sets us apart is the friendly, empathetic and diverse staff we have. They all live very close to the respective locations they work in so there is sense of familiarity with the communities they serve. This helps us over come any language barriers or cultural misunderstandings.
