I have always known that I was going to enter into the field of science someday. I had many interests in college, including anatomy, physiology, nursing, and microbiology. After college, I decided to pursue a career in teaching our young people to be enthusiastic about science. I realized that we needed young minds to feel sincere passion for science in order to carry the next generation. I chose to work in inner city schools because they struggle the most to attract science teachers, and I felt that I could make the most difference in that setting. My students challenge and inspire me each and every day to be the best I can be. To be the best teacher I can possibly be. I can honestly say that choosing teaching as a career was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
