It is said that "You'll never have to work a day in your life if you find a job you love." That's proven to be beyond true for me in my career as a Psychiatric Nurse. I discovered my passion for helping people at a young age, growing up as a Girl Scout. I thrived on helping others through volunteering in the community, and took great pride in being a 'scout.' But on the side, I'd always been fascinated with the mystique of the human mind. The fusion of science and abstraction in psychology was enchanting. Thus, it's no surprise that I found my calling as a Psychiatric Nurse. Uniting my passions in the clinical setting has only intensified my desire to make this my life's work. And I am grateful & proud to call myself a 'Psych Nurse.'
