Amber Lokatys resides in Oakland, California as a portrait and product photographer. After gaining experience in the visual arts at the University of Vermont, she traveled to the heart of San Francisco to study fine art photography at the Academy of Art University. Characterized by a soft, high-key aesthetic, Amber’s personal work is heavily influenced by the female gaze and deciphers the exploration of young adulthood. Today, she is the in-house photographer at Benefit Cosmetics.
