Assistant Professor of Economics Dr. Garin's work leverages novel administrative datasets and quasi-experimental methodologies to study topics spanning the field of labor economics, guided by insights from economic theory. His research aims to improve our understanding of how firm behavior and labor market structure drive broader trends in economic inequality and mobility and to draw lessons for policy.
