Atika is the founder of The J Healthcare Initiative, a nonprofit transforming substance use healthcare through evidence-based policy work and experiential learning. Drawing from her experience as a first-generation immigrant, Atika creates innovative healthcare solutions in collaboration with people who use drugs. Her work has engaged 174,000 college students, generated over 9500 project hours in health promotion, and influenced policies impacting 7 million people.
