Dr. Bob Wood is a Professor of Finance in the Mitchell College of Business. He returned to faculty after serving as Dean of the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama (2014-2021) and the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University (2010-2014). He was named the Beta Gamma Sigma Dean of the Year in 2020 and was the recipient of the 2014 Beta Alpha Psi Outstanding Dean Award. Dr. Wood also served as Associate Dean and the Heidtke Professor of Finance while on the faculty at Tennessee Tech University (1994-2010). While Associate Dean, he was responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the online MBA program.
