Dr. Ritchie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University in 2008. From 2009 to 2018 she worked as a nurse in the pre-operative and post-anesthesia units, and at two Level I trauma centers in their ICUs. After obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program in 2018, she started her career in community mental health at Jefferson Center. Britt completed her doctorate project “Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) for Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)”, which was a program evaluation of an eight-week group-based intervention.
