Brittany Ferrero

Supporting early stage startups, typically as the first non-technical hire working alongside the CEO. When I'm not at work, I'm backpacking, cycling, mushroom foraging, refurbishing my neighborhood's little free libraries, working on civic organizing projects (grassroots political fundraising, creating free community centers and gardens), running SF's largest figure drawing events, and volunteering as a suicide counselor. My community work has been recognized by the White House as open government and civic hacking “Champions of Change". Areas I'm interested in include: FOSS, carbon capture and storage, humanist urban development, micromobility, and tech that directs humanity towards TNG and not Dune.
