Christopher Showalter is the Co-Owner and Clinical Director of Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS), the Program Director of the MAPS Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship Program, a Senior MAPS Course Instructor, and Senior Faculty Advisor. The Maitland-Australian Approach is a hands-on, evidence-based approach to physical therapy using gentle mobilization techniques and clinical reasoning. It was originally developed in Australia by Geoff Maitland, with whom Mr. Showalter studied closely.
