David Weintraub

David Weintraub, LMT, is a New York City–based medical massage specialist and the owner of Bodyworks DW, a multi-location practice known for advanced myofascial, deep-tissue, post-surgical, and sports massage therapy. With nearly two decades of clinical experience, he focuses on restoring functional movement, relieving complex pain patterns, and helping clients build long-term, sustainable improvements—not just quick fixes. David is also a national continuing-education instructor for licensed massage therapists and a regular contributor to Massage Magazine. He teaches evidence-informed approaches to myofascial release, shoulder mechanics, and full-body integration, and frequently comments on topics related to pain science, posture, recovery, ergonomics, and the business of bodywork.
