Deborah Carmichael

Deborah heads the Dispute Resolution department at Jones Whyte, with decades of experience in property disputes, contract issues, professional negligence, and landlord-tenant matters. A Solicitor Advocate, she appears in Scotland’s highest courts and excels in both adversarial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiation. Deborah is Trainee Partner, mentoring and recruiting new talent, and has taught Civil Litigation on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. She contributed to Jones Whyte’s 2021 ‘Firm of the Year’ wins and its ongoing growth.
