Avi Miodownik, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and New Jersey specializing in geriatric mental health, grief, end-of-life care, and oncology. He works with older adults and their families navigating some of life's most complex transitions — serious illness, loss, and the psychological dimensions of aging. A former senior clinician at the VA, he now runs a private practice in New York City. He also works with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, with particular experience supporting gay men's mental health across the lifespan.
