I bridge research and practice, helping educators, parents, and leaders apply the science of thriving to their work and their lives. I'm an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati, where I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in educational leadership, higher education, and well-being. My research focuses on social connection, the neuroscience of thriving, parent engagement, education policy K-16, international education, and leadership for social justice. Before academia, I helped lead a parent engagement program that reached over 2,500 families across 50 schools. I hold a Ph.D. from NYU and an M.Ed. from Harvard.
