Ed Lynch-Bell has spent his career advancing innovation, primarily in the energy sector. As an engineer educated at The university of Sheffield, the Politecnico di Torino and Carnegie Mellon University bridging technology, markets, customer needs, and policy to advance decarbonisation of the energy and transport sectors. On graduating Carnegie Mellon Ed was part of the founding team of Aquion Energy a Sodium Ion battery manufacturing startup, where he built the process and quality engineering functions, contributed to basic R&D and holds a share in patents relating to his contributions to the battery design.
