I am a fourth-generation native New Yorker and the founder of the award-winning Lower East Side History Project. With decades of experience researching and sharing the city's lesser-known stories, I bring a deep knowledge and a rare passion for urban archaeology to my work. My expertise is built on a lifetime of immersion in New York's history. I am the author of seven books on NYC history and have consulted on numerous films and television series, including Boardwalk Empire, Making of the Mob, The Irishman, and The Great Gatsby.
