Working as postdoc researcher at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology gave me a great opportunity to learn and use many new skills like clean room microfabrication and microscopic characterization using SEM, TEM and AFM and many other techniques and skills. My research focuses on using graphene and carbon nanotubes for chemical and gas sensors. Three different methods are used to fabricate the graphene and carbon nanotubes; the inkjet printing of CNTs& graphene, the CVD method and the smear casting technique. Three different architectures are fabricated in clean room; the back-gated structure, the cavity structure and the membrane structure.
