Jackie (They/Them) is a white trans non-binary DEI consultant at Humancentric and a former award winning public school educator of 19 years. Having earned a B.A. in English and Psychology from Miami University in Ohio and an M.A.T. from Duke University, they entered the classroom with a lens that prioritized inclusiveness, safety, and challenging academics. Throughout their 6 years teaching in South Korean and their 13 years in North Carolina’s Public Schools they became a vocal advocate and builder of culturally responsive curriculum taught from a foundation of trust.
