I have a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia, have worked in education, coaching, training, fundraising, writing, editing, strategic thinking, and planning. I love languages and culture, which led me to a job where I taught myself basic Iraqi Arabic for a culture and language training project for the Marines and Navy. I also have public speaking experience in conferences, networking groups, podcasts, and inspirational video platforms, and have written a blog aimed at mompreneurs.
