We have a running joke at Sandler, "Even though sales is the most common profession in the world...no one grows up dreaming of becoming a salesperson" Well, I did. As a teenager in the late 2000s, I regularly found myself sitting in the back seat of my dad's car, listening to Sandler training CDs on our weekend hockey trips across the east coast. He was a client at the time and later became a franchise owner. Almost 15 years after listening to Sandler CD's in the back of the car, I got the chance to join Sandler full time.
