I produce and edit documentary films. I have edited over 40 feature length documentaries, attempting to move, provoke and educate people about war and peace, human rights, artists’ lives, American history, and contemporary social issues. I have been privileged to work on films that impact people's lives.I co-edited "Regret To Inform", a film the New York Times described as “unforgettable … exquisitely filmed, edited and scored.” My work has appeared on HBO, Showtime, PBS’ American Masters, POV, and Independent Lens, and in television and film festivals worldwide.My wife Marcia Jarmel and I produce intimate character-driven stories that explore issues we are passionate about.
