As a Public Health/Global Health Expert: My area of expertise has been the strengthening of health systems for the delivery of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health services in low and middle-income countries. I have consulted in more than 30 countries in Africa, the Caribbean, South East Asia, the Middle East, and the Pacific Islands. I also have a special interest in the delivery of childhood immunization services. I served for 6 years on the GAVI Independent Review Committee. Post-conflict reconstruction of health systems is another special interest of mine. I consulted in post-conflict countries (Sierra Leone 2008, Liberia 2010, South Sudan 2013), and countries in active conflict (Somalia 2005, Iraq 2013).
