I started OurGen to help students get their first job after Uni. Because I saw a lack of student support, advice from people from different generations that didn’t hold up. I wanted support for our generation, caught in the devaluation of degrees and an international, 24/7 job market. So I quit Uni to provide a learning ecosystem that helped students become professionals, at an accessible price. Not as a mentor charging over £100 for a superficial CV review that didn’t even get at students’ real problems. I started small, just helping friends. Then I worked one-on-one with students and they started to get jobs. Since 2020 I’ve spoken to hundreds of successful candidates and employers to understand how to get hired.
