I'm the co-founder of Frostbeard Studio, the first candle company to specialize in scents for book lovers. What started as my DIY side project, mostly selling at local craft fairs, has grown into a highly successful indie candle brand. My mission with Frostbeard is to make clever candles to delight book nerds (including myself). It's very satisfying to come up with original recipes that are witty and make reading even more enjoyable. My husband Tom and I built up our business from scratch. We successfully developed an ecommerce presence, all without a formal business education.
