I am an advocate of public education, particularly in the arts. My goal in teaching is to provide high quality music instruction to all students in the communities I service. I believe that every child is entitled to a thriving music education. I also hope to foster an intrinsic passion and love for music, musicians, and the musical experience.I believe that every child has the potential to succeed. I need to be responsive to students' needs and skills; to help them breach gaps and maintain abilities. Through relationship building and culturally responsive teaching, I aim to connect with students and help facilitate their learning to ensure success after they graduate.
