Sascha de Vries is a former military police officer, two-time world champion in sport karate, and a recognized expert in child safety, violence prevention, and sports education. He is the founder and CEO of the Karate Fachsportschulen, one of Germany’s leading professional martial arts and education organizations focused on children and youth, operating across Germany and the DACH region. His competitive career includes European championship titles, multiple German national championships, induction into a Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and the World Fairness Medal (Tröger Award) for sportsmanship and ethical conduct.
