Shawna Baskette is an evidence-focused dog behavior educator and the creator of Reactive Dog Reset and The Dog Library. Her work focuses on canine reactivity, stress physiology, and learning theory, with an emphasis on translating peer-reviewed research into practical, humane strategies for dog owners. She specializes in helping owners understand and reduce reactivity through approaches that prioritize emotional regulation, trust, and real-world application. In addition to her work in dog behavior, Shawna serves as Dean of Academic Success at Cerritos College, where her background in research and information literacy informs her analytical, evidence-driven approach.
