Simon is a Fellow of The Electrical College of Engineers Australia, has worked in the Telecommunications industry for more than 16 years including 8 years with Telstra Research Laboratories in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language and Data Mining. He holds several Australian and International patents in Information Retrieval and Data Classification and has consulted to Patent Attorneys as an Expert Witness, participated in Innovation Think Tanks, performed Intellectual Property Audits and Lectured at RMIT on the subject of Network Programming.
