Stephen Harpur is the CEO and Chairman of Progressive Planet, a clean tech and manufacturing company based in Kamloops, British Columbia. Responsible for setting the vision of Progressive Planet, Stephen leads the technical team in developing scalable, sustainable solutions – from technology in the lab to pilot validation and commercialization of products. Stephen’s passion for innovation has led him and his team to the cement industry – where they are changing the game by using ground glass diverted from landfills to dramatically decrease the use of fly ash, the byproduct of coal plants that release four billion tonnes of CO2 into the air annually.
