Physicians (MD/DO) to talk about personal budgeting "beyond 101" level
My brief for this feature story is "Budgeting 201: A beyond-the-basics guide for new physicians to manage their finances."
I'm looking to talk to physicians who've learned some personal finance tips and tricks through experience that they'd like to share with new physicians just starting out.
You don't need to be an advisor to physicians on financial matters, but it's also fine if that's part of your expertise. A valid perspective based on experience, or on acting as a physician leader/mentor in a group/hospital setting is all that's really required. (For example, your experience could be mistakes you learned from, tools or ideas you picked up from others that have worked for you, etc.)
The main idea is to go beyond the (very basic) initial info that every new physician hears about managing money in training and introduce some "201 level" concepts to help new physicians manage their significantly increased income and achieve their various financial goals.
