What does real student success look like after graduation?
I’m looking to speak with college and university leaders about how they define and measure student success after graduation, beyond enrollment and completion rates.
Specifically, I’m interested in insights from:
* Career services directors
* Heads of student success or employability
* Workforce development leads at colleges or universities
* Institutional research or outcomes analysts
* Program directors responsible for graduate outcomes
I’d love to understand:
* What indicators matter most 6–12 months after graduation (employment, job relevance, confidence, progression, etc.)
* How institutions track outcomes like resume readiness, interview readiness, or job alignment
* What gaps still exist between academic preparation and employer expectations
* How institutions balance quantitative metrics (employment rates) with qualitative signals (confidence, clarity, readiness)
* What “success” looks like for different learner groups (traditional students, adult learners, career switchers)
Please do not pitch products or provide generic opinions. I’m looking for first-hand institutional perspectives, examples, or frameworks currently used in higher education.
While we work hard to review all responses, only selected submissions will be included. We may include a backlink to your website or a link to your LinkedIn profile, so please be sure to include your LinkedIn. Selected contributions may also be promoted on social media.
