ConvertKit and GetResponse are both reasonably easy to use; however, some users find GetResponse to be a bit more intuitive than ConvertKit. However, it can be expensive, and its interface can be confusing for beginners. So which platform is right for you? If you're looking for an affordable tool with basic features, ConvertKit is a good choice. But if you need more advanced features, such as A/B testing or webinars, GetResponse is worth considering.
This seems like a bit of a lofty answer but it really is true. GetResponse, as a tool, just feel like it overall does more for the user in terms of actually positioning your email marketing campaigns to succeed. For example, a really simple and easy to use built-in template designer, and an intuitive method of segmenting your users (so that you can setup multiple campaigns based on audience type) that will very likely result in a greater conversion rate due to the sheer level of audience targeting methods available to you within GetResponse. If it isn't already obvious, GetResponse gets my vote!
ConvertKit gives you few email template options, and even its landing page designs are limited: you can customize the colors and not much else. It also lacks of detailed reporting. You get basic analytics (opens, click-through, and unsubscribes), but you won’t find detailed data other than your emails and subscriber actions. It isn’t a bad choice for small creators just looking for a hassle-free way to send out a few hundred emails a week, and its free plan packs a few more features than GetResponse, but GetResponse will serve you better as your list grows and your marketing needs become more complex, because it offers more features and better deliverability tools at better prices. On the other hand, GetResponse takes more time to learn, and some plans are not exactly cheap depending on your needs. For example, if you have less than 1,000 subscribers and you need the webinar features, you need to sign up for the Pro plan.

The two contenders for email marketing are convertkit and getresponse. The main differences between the two are: GetResponse offers a specialized Webinar automation, autoresponder, and workflows builder, whereas ConvertKit does not. It is also ideal for salespeople, whereas ConvertKit is best for subscription sign-ups. GetResponse charges for duplicate sign-ups, but good old Convertkit doe not. If the comparisons are anything to go by, GetRespone takes the spot of the most suitable email marketing tool out there.
