As a 3PL provider (www.MinimusFulfillment.biz) we have seen great relationships with clients that approach 3PL as a partner versus as a vendor. When brands/companies work with their 3PL provider with strong communication to share what is happening in the brand's business, what is coming up next, ask for ways they can be a better customer to make things run smoother, etc., then the 3PL provider is more in tune with the dynamics of the brands and can always be working in harmony together as opposed to be looked at as a vendor for hire mentality.
