Audiologist - Level II at Emory University Hospital
Answered 2 years ago
Audiologists often have unique connections with their patients that are not readily observed but deliberately planned. This preparation requires years of intense study in this field that emphasizes patience, dedication, and determination. Finding and accomplishing a balance between compassion and efficiency is undoubtedly one of the most difficult tasks. As I have worked with older adults, I have learned to accurately assess case history, retrieve reliable responses and deliver compassionate results. Nothing is more rewarding than the look on the faces of patients, families, and friends when we provide an aural solution and I hear them say, “I can hear!”
