We developed a UGC Creator Course on Podia. We selected Podia for its feature that enables us to issue certificates. These certificates validate our students' course completion, which they can then display on their resumes and portfolios. Podia also enables quizzes to test students and easy course creation functions. It's arguably the most aesthetically pleasing online course creation platform with a drag and drop design system, a significant factor in attracting a younger audience. Podia emphasizes the fundamentals of community building. It enables the segmentation of topics and provides an internal chat system for students to contact you. Their pricing plan starts with a $9 monthly fee for website building. Then, $39 per month for creating a digital course & additional add-ons. This pricing is designed for educators who are still building an audience, compared to more expensive options like Teachable and LearnDash. As a community-driven platform, it resonates with our audience of newer creators that require more attention. This has resulted in daily signups and a keen interest in learning from other community members, as well as educators to come onboard to teach. We transitioned from Stan.store because it wasn't SEO-optimized and isn't a proper web builder. Creating a course was challenging on Stan since it's primarily optimized for mobile use, which made navigation difficult for users. In comparison, podia has been online since 2014, with a focus on being creator-friendly. Other platforms, such as Skool, charge more for a similar system and offers a less user-friendly interface due to its short time in the market.
