One educational TV show that is great for an 8-year-old is "Brain Games." This show, which can be found on National Geographic, uses a combination of interactive games, illusions, and experiments to teach kids about how their brains work and the science behind perception, memory, and decision-making. The show is hosted by experts in the field of psychology and neuroscience, and is both entertaining and informative. "Brain Games" is perfect for 8-year-olds because it's designed to be interactive, engaging, and accessible. The show uses simple explanations and fun demonstrations to explain complex concepts, and kids are encouraged to participate and try the games and experiments themselves. This makes the show a great way for kids to learn while having fun, and to develop a love for science and learning that will stay with them for years to come.
My daughter is 8 years old and she (along with our entire family) loves the show All Round Champion on BYUTV. All Round Champion takes 10 athletes from around the world. The athletes then have just a week to learn each of the sports of the other athletes. The current season is all para-athletes, so it’s teaching my daughter that no matter the obstacle, there is always a way to accomplish her goals. This show teaches kids so much about grit, determination, kindness and goal setting. It is wholesome and engaging and it motivates my daughter to try new things and work hard to better herself, both in the classroom and out of it!
