Choosing a domain with .ai When AI was first introduced, it was a smart decision to choose a .ai domain and was even quite trendy. It was a great way for businesses or customers to identify what we offered which turned out to be a double-edged weapon. Despite indicating that we were offering technological services and advancements, there were still many corporate entities that were completely against AI adoption and even blocked .ai domains on their networks, seeing them as a higher risk for spam. This made it more difficult to reach potential clients and even email deliverability was impacted with cold outreach ending up in spam. Having that .ai domain put us in the same category as hundreds of low quality AI tools making it a lot more difficult to prove our worth.
