Certainly. Adaptability is always there in the world of research. I remember a particular case in which my research protocol had to be changed due to some unexpected circumstances. However, we had some roadblocks when gathering data because of external factors that were beyond our control. And instead of sinking into frustration we pivoted. We modified the timeline of this study, identified other data sources rather than depending on one source and tweaked our methodology without affecting its validity.
