They understood the importance of having the right people from their division/department/unit act as a formal extension of the change management team, providing critical insights and feedback to the team ensuring their areas needs were understood, considered, and they were involved in the change program so it would meet their needs. Creating and deploying human-centered change management activities that are supported from top leaders and rooted in psychological safety provides space for employees to lean into the change as opposed to being anxious about it.
