Conversational commerce is one of the best ways to generate new leads using different means of communication. It usually means making a purchase via text and bypassing an e-commerce website completely. Many retailers use this approach to offer a human touch to a strategy that they are utilising for marketing. Conversational commerce doesn't require a big company size or store; it helps to gain attention via a nice conversation. One chatbot experience that I've found interesting is that of Clinique. It asks users to take a short quiz to find out what type of skin they have. With the answers, the users are provided with products that fit their needs. We've utilised this idea to develop an e-commerce chatbot that allows our shoppers to get aware of customs and other additional documents required to purchase that particular product instantly before purchasing.
