Adopting new construction materials, like cross-laminated timber (CLT), can greatly improve project results by enhancing efficiency and sustainability. In a mid-rise building case study, CLT was chosen over traditional concrete and steel due to its superior strength-to-weight ratio, lower carbon footprint, and quicker assembly. This transition led to significant time savings and other positive outcomes, demonstrating the benefits of innovative construction methods.
