In the Kitchener/Waterloo Region of Southern Ontario, we identified a need for Indigenous Catering. We started an Indigenous catering company called Cedar Spoon. Our goal with Cedar Spoon is to bring authentic Indigenous cuisine to the forefront of our region. We utilize the freshest, seasonal Canadian ingredients in our dishes. We focus on Education - teaching clients about the history of the cuisine and its importance in the Indigenous Communities. Authenticity - we use the freshest native Canadian ingredients to ensure the authenticity of our dishes. Flavour - we use modern cooking techniques and practices to highlight flavour profiles best.
